Alpha Tester Club is an online community of shoppers who test products and share reviews to help fellow shoppers buy better. Alpha Tester Club is home to thousands of product reviews, and by joining the club, you’ll be eligible to participate in free product tests, with samples delivered straight to your doorstep.

Participation

Alpha Tester Club is currently only available in Australia.
We want Alpha Tester Club to be the best online community for product testing and feedback. To achieve this, we expect our members to share their honest reviews on the products that they’ve tested through Alpha Tester Club. There are no costs associated with being a member.
Testing products is one of the most exciting parts of being a Alpha Tester Club member. Visit the “Test” section of the website to register your interest for product tests during recruitment periods. Keep in mind, we want to make sure that the right products are getting into the hands of the right consumers. Before we send out products, we’ll have you answer a few pre-qualifying questions to ensure that you’re the right type of person to test the product. While you may not be suited for every product test, don’t be discouraged – keep an eye on your inbox for invites from us.

Product Testing

When you sign up as a member, we’ll ask a few questions to help us understand your consumer profile. A combination of this information, as well as prequalifying questions (specific to product tests), will determine the best members to test a product.
We only want to send products that are relevant to you. By registering and completing your profile, we’ll know not to send baby products to a member who doesn’t have any babies.
If you apply for a product test and you’re selected to participate, we’ll let you know via email.
Congratulations. Typically, a product can take 1-3 weeks to be delivered once you’ve been selected for a test.
If you’re selected for a product test and you haven’t received the product after 3 weeks, please take the following steps:
  • Log in to your account, and visit your Dashboard by clicking your name on the top right corner. Next, select “Profile details” to make sure your address is correct.
  • If your address is incorrect, your product won’t reach you. Please update your address.
  • If your address is correct, check to see if there are any postage delays in your area.
  • If all looks well, there’s a chance your package may have gone missing. Unfortunately, this happens occasionally, and due to limited supply, we cannot re-send you the lost product.
Great! Read the flyer that was delivered with your product, as this will include the directions for your product test. We’ll be sending you a link via email to access your feedback survey, so you can share your thoughts on the product with us. Remember, be honest!
While we would love to include every member in our product tests, we have a rather large community and only a limited number of products to send out. The best way to enhance your chances of being selected is to complete your Alpha Tester Club profile, and to apply for product tests as soon as you’re invited to register.

Reviewing Products

At Alpha Tester Club, we’re relying on your honest reviews to help fellow shoppers buy better. If you didn’t like a product, tell us.
Negative reviews are still honest reviews. We want to hear your real opinions on the products that matter to you. With the exception of inappropriate or abusive language, your feedback will never affect your chances of being selected for future tests.

My Account

At Alpha Tester Club, we believe your information should be kept private. Your personal details including your name, address and email will never be shared with anyone outside Buchanan, unless you opt to share details with fellow members. Usually, only your first and last name will be visible on our website. If you’re testing a product, your responses may be shared with the brands and companies who own the product. As a closed community, we do not connect directly with social media platforms
