We want Alpha Tester Club to be the best online community for product testing and feedback. To achieve this, we expect our members to share their honest reviews on the products that they’ve tested through Alpha Tester Club. There are no costs associated with being a member.

Testing products is one of the most exciting parts of being a Alpha Tester Club member. Visit the “Test” section of the website to register your interest for product tests during recruitment periods. Keep in mind, we want to make sure that the right products are getting into the hands of the right consumers. Before we send out products, we’ll have you answer a few pre-qualifying questions to ensure that you’re the right type of person to test the product. While you may not be suited for every product test, don’t be discouraged – keep an eye on your inbox for invites from us.

When you sign up as a member, we’ll ask a few questions to help us understand your consumer profile. A combination of this information, as well as prequalifying questions (specific to product tests), will determine the best members to test a product.

We only want to send products that are relevant to you. By registering and completing your profile, we’ll know not to send baby products to a member who doesn’t have any babies.

If you apply for a product test and you’re selected to participate, we’ll let you know via email.

Congratulations. Typically, a product can take 1-3 weeks to be delivered once you’ve been selected for a test.

Great! Read the flyer that was delivered with your product, as this will include the directions for your product test. We’ll be sending you a link via email to access your feedback survey, so you can share your thoughts on the product with us. Remember, be honest!

While we would love to include every member in our product tests, we have a rather large community and only a limited number of products to send out. The best way to enhance your chances of being selected is to complete your Alpha Tester Club profile, and to apply for product tests as soon as you’re invited to register.

If you want to leave a review on a certain product, use the search bar to see if we have a product page for that item yet. If we do, feel free to leave a review. If you can’t find the product page you’re looking for, send us a note and we’ll add it to the site.

Find a good light source – We want you to shine, just as much as the product you’re testing. So find a spot in your house with a good source of natural light, or use as much artificial lighting as you can.

Show us the product pack – As you give your review, hold up the product pack! We want to see you with the product while you show & tell us about your experience.

Find a quiet spot if you’re recording a video – Try to reduce ambient noise. Find a nice quiet room where you won’t be interrupted. Try to turn off any appliances that make noise, like an air conditioner or fan.

A photo or video review may not automatically upload to the site as these types of review require approval by the team at Alpha Tester Club. Don’t worry, if approved, you’ll see it in 1-2 days.

The reviews on Alpha Tester Club are left by members who have tried the product as a part of a product test, as well as members who have tried products independently.

Some badges are earned more easily than others – but don’t let that stop you from earning them all. There are 3 categories of badges you can earn:

• Earn Club badges by completing your member profile, and writing reviews.


• Earn Community badges by getting involved with – you guessed it, the community! Photo uploads, video uploads, and survey participation is a sure way to earn a badge.


• Earn Expert badges by writing reviews for multiple products within a category.

Passionate about your favourite shampoo or conditioner? Feel strongly about a new face cream regime? Share your reviews and you’ll earn a Health & Beauty Expert badge in no time.

Each month we invite our most active members to participate in bonus Alpha Tester Club trials, where we send you free products. We call this our “Top Contributor Program”. The 20 members per country with the most points for that month get invited to these exclusive product tests!

In addition to this, we look at our members’ points during the selection process for our product tests. After you have registered your interest in a product test, our Alpha Tester Club team looks at all of the responses, then selects members that specifically qualify for that product test. If we have more qualified members than we require, we typically look at points as a deciding factor for who we send the products to! That means, if you have a high number of points, then you are more likely to be selected for a free trial.

If you have been a member with us for a while, you may have noticed your points have recently changed. Or, you may not have noticed that you have Alpha Tester Club points at all yet! We want to ensure our active members are rewarded for their engagement on our website and within our community. We also want to ensure all members have a fair chance to receive free products from us for testing. That is why we have made a few changes to the points values we assign for each activity on our website.

Member participation is what makes Alpha Tester Club great. Badges are symbols of contributions to the Club. The more active you are, the more badges you’ll earn – and the more badges you earn, the more chances you’ll have to be rewarded.

There are all sorts of ways you can earn a badge: writing reviews, sharing photo and video uploads, completing surveys, and spreading the word on social media will all lead to badges.

At Alpha Tester Club, we believe your information should be kept private. Your personal details including your name, address and email will never be shared with anyone outside The Brand Power Company, unless you opt to share details with fellow members. Usually, only your first and last name will be visible on our website. If you’re testing a product, your responses may be shared with the brands and companies who own the product.
